All eyes are on the Dodge Challenger this year because of the Challenger SRT Demon. Boasting a sub-4-second zero-to-60 time and a top speed that almost breaks 200 mph, its the most powerful production car ever produced. However, it’s not a practical choice for every driver, and that’s where the 14 other models of the Challenger come into play. It’s still a muscle car at every level, boasting power, agility, and nimble handling, yet it doesn’t stop there. Exterior features include dual exhaust, quad LED headlights, LED split tail lamps, and wheels ranging from 18 to 20 inches.

Engine

EngineThe Challenger has so much power that you’re going to need a towel when your foot hits the pedal and your jaw hits the floor. Lower trims come with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine mated with an eight-speed automatic transmission to produce 300 horsepower and 264 pound-feet of torque. For even more oomph, the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that pumps out 370 horsepower and 395 pound-feet of torque. The 392 Hemi V-8 comes standard on the R/T Scat Pack and 392 models, which spits out 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque while achieving a zero-to-60 time of just over four seconds. For even more power, pick the Hellcat. It has an insane 6.2-liter supercharged HEMI V-8 good for 707 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. However, the Demon is a real devil. With 840 horsepower and 770 pound-feet of torque, it’s the strongest and most powerful car created for American roads. When you hit the throttle, you’ll know what it feels like to be in a jet fighter.

Performance

PerformanceThe three largest engines provide mileage in the teens on the highway and the city, but the 3.6-liter engine will get you further on a single tank of gas. With this engine, expect to get up to 30 miles per gallon on the highway and about 550 miles on a single tank.
