Learn How Chrysler Gives Back in These Four Ways
Chrysler proudly works to support different charities and organizations around the country. Here’s how they’re giving back to your community.
Give a Dog a Job
Chrysler knows the important role that assistance dogs play in the lives of people with disabilities. At this year’s Chicago Auto Show, Chrysler announced a new partnership with BraunAbility and Canine Companions for Independence which they are calling Give a Dog a Job. Together, the three companies are helping to provide more assistance dogs to individuals with disabilities around the country.
The program is currently accepting donations of all sizes and is promising to match every dollar up to the first $10,000 donated. A small donation of only $50 can help feed and care for a dog for a month.
Cars 4 Classrooms
For more than 10 years Chrysler has been supporting schools around the United States through a partnership with the National PTA. Through their program, Cars 4 Classrooms, Chrysler supports local PTAs to promote family engagement in schools. They are also a big advocate for the National PTA’s Take Your Family to School Week.
Schools that choose to get involved in the Chrysler Cars 4 Classroom program can receive up to $3,000 by hosting an event with Chrysler. They receive $10 for every test drive in a Chrysler Pacifica or Pacifica Hybrid Minivan up to $2,000. They can then earn the additional $1,000 through social sharing.
Kango Ridesharing for Kids
Sometimes getting kids home from school or taking them to after-school activities can be difficult for working parents. Chrysler is working to help busy families around the country with the rideshare company, Kango. Kango’s drivers are pre-screened and receive extensive background checks, so you can rest easy knowing your children are in safe hands.
This program started in the fall of 2017 and is the first of its kind between an automaker and a rideshare company. The program is aimed at helping families with children between preschool and high school age. Chrysler is leasing Pacifica Hybrids with state-of-the-art plug-in technology as well as safety and security features to all eligible Kango drivers to ensure that children are as safe as they can possibly be.
Another Mother Runner
Another Mother Runner is an organization that is devoted to the health and fitness of mothers around the country. It originally started as a way to motivate busy mothers to get out and start running for both their physical and mental health. They struck a chord across the country with their books about getting fit while still managing a career, a family, and a relationship, and Chrysler has partnered up with them to further help moms across the United States.
The Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is the official vehicle of Another Mother Runner. The Pacifica Hybrid offers families an excellent 33-mile electric range, dependability, and a fast charging battery so that you don’t have to sit and wait; you can get up and go whenever you need to.
